It's time to shatter some myths about chocolate

Since our world is full of myths about chocolate, we decided to pick up the gauntlet and dispel some of the most well-known myths that probably all of us believed in at some point in life – it's time to reveal the truth so that we can enjoy our chocolate without qualms!

Myth number 1: Eating chocolate causes pimples

In all the many studies carried out in the field in an attempt to locate such a relationship , no causal relationship has been found between eating chocolate and pimples. Yes yes you read correctly, in the end, the phenomenon of the appearance of pimples has other causes usually - mainly related to the type of facial skin and its oiliness, as well as the amount of foods saturated with fat consumed.

So the next time you hear about someone who refuses chocolate so they don't get pimples – feel free to blame them for their mistake (unless you don't feel like sharing and you've just pretended to be polite).

Myth number 2: Eating chocolate causes a headache

Here, too, studies that have examined the subject have not found a causal relationship between eating chocolate and headaches or migraine attacks, so the next time your head hurts - you will find another reason because chocolate only has good intentions!

Myth number 3: There are no positive nutritional values for chocolate (Say What?! )

This is a myth really insulting, why? Because chocolate is in general a rich source of antioxidants, zinc, calcium and even protein that helps the body reduce its resistance to insulin - a resistance that can eventually lead to type 2 diabetes. More than that, nutrition experts around the world recommend a daily controlled consumption of dark chocolate (yay!). Dark chocolate is known to contain dietary fiber, minerals, and antioxidants that can also be found in green tea and wine. The consumption of chocolate helps health and no less important than that - the mood, the higher the concentration of cocoa the more it has the ability to reduce the level of stress and strengthen the immune system and memory (men who got in trouble because they forgot an important date... - this is for you). In short, even if you find it difficult to keep up with tasks, here's a fun one: eat dark chocolate once a day!

Myth number 4: Chocolate causes weight gain

One of the things that people often fear the most is putting food in your mouth that is known in advance to cause weight gain, so here we are here to reassure – eating chocolate in a moderate way will not jump you into the next weight category. What's more, excess or extreme eating of any processed foods will cause you to gain weight – and this is true not only for chocolate. So go ahead, don't be afraid to treat yourself to a quality chocolate package – it's not what will ruin your cut, it's all a matter of balances, you totally deserve it!
