Chocolate-honey pie

Preparation

1. Prepare the crust: In a mixer bowl with a guitar hook, mix the butter and flour until you get crumbs. Add the sugar and one egg and keep mixing until you get a smooth dough. Wrap the ball signal in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour.

2. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius. On a slightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a circle 30 cm in diameter and 1 cm thick, place the dough circle in a pan and cover with parchment paper. Fill the pan with dried beans or any weight that will prevent the dough from rising, and put in the oven. Bake for 15 minutes, remove from the oven and let cool. Leave the oven on.

3. In a small saucepan with a thick bottom, bring the honey to a boil, then remove from the heat and let cool for about 2 minutes.

4. In a separate bowl beat the eggs, butter and vanilla extract. Continue to whisk and add in a thin stream the honey, followed by the pecans, chocolate and nutmeg.

5. Pour the mixture into the bottom of the pie, put in the oven and bake until you get a golden-brown tint and a firm texture — about 25 minutes.
